Senior Platform Engineer on Gravitee's Platform Team, building and maintaining production Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure that powers the company's API management platform, supporting enterprise customers on complex issues, and enabling new AI/agent-management workloads. Core stack: Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Docker, Argo, major clouds, and Grafana/Prometheus.
Since 2015, Gravitee has grown into a global force, recognized as a 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for API Management. What started with four developers challenging the complexities of APIs has evolved into a revolutionary platform powering API and event stream ecosystems worldwide. We drive digital transformation for top enterprises - from Michelin to Roche to Blue Yonder - offering unmatched control over APIs and event streams.
Now, we are leading the next evolution: AI Agent Management. Our platform brings security and governance to the agentic ecosystem - with our Agent Gateway for A2A protocol communications, native Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, and multi-agent, multi-LLM control. We are building the infrastructure that lets enterprises unlock the full potential of AI, securely and at scale.
Our rapid growth and leadership in API management are fueled by our team's commitment to excellence and our core values:
Passion: We bring excitement to everything we do, constantly innovating to stay ahead of the curve.
Hold Nothing Back: We go above and beyond to help customers and teammates succeed, holding ourselves to the highest standards.
Professionalism: We believe in clear, respectful communication and prioritize the needs of our team and customers.
Join us on this journey. Be part of a team that is redefining what is possible in API management, and shaping the future of digital transformation. The possibilities are endless - be a part of the revolution!
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will be part of a Platform Team dedicated to making Gravitee's products best in class in terms of both product and infrastructure. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that powers Gravitee's platform, while also supporting our customers with exceptional technical expertise.
This is a hands-on, critical role in our organization. The right candidate will enjoy problem solving in a highly specialized and technical way - from delivering production-ready Kubernetes-based environments to investigating complex customer issues.
As Gravitee expands into AI Agent Management, the Platform team plays a critical role in ensuring our infrastructure can support AI workloads, agent orchestration, and the demanding performance requirements of real-time AI gateway operations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Participate in delivering Gravitee NextGen Cloud infrastructure, including environments that support AI Gateway and Agent Management workloads
Deliver production-ready, Kubernetes-based, customer-facing environments - not just POCs
Assist the support team to help customers have the best experience possible with our products
Work with other team members to develop and maintain new infrastructure features
Share your knowledge (tech and non-tech) during internal Gravitee TechTalks
Lead investigation of support tickets and work collaboratively to resolve customer issues
Create knowledge articles to complete documentation and enable customers to better understand product use cases
Be innovative within the team to help improve processes and tools, including exploring AI-driven automation for operations
At Gravitee, we see AI as a force multiplier for engineers, not a replacement for solid engineering fundamentals. We expect you to:
Be open and proactive in using AI-assisted tools (e.g., AI coding assistants, troubleshooting aids, automation helpers) to accelerate day-to-day work
Use AI thoughtfully to improve existing processes, reduce manual toil, and increase reliability in operations and support workflows
Experiment with AI-driven approaches to problem solving, documentation, and incident analysis, while maintaining a strong critical mindset
Understand the limits of AI tools and apply engineering judgment to validate, refine, and productionize outcomes
Contribute ideas on how AI can be safely and effectively integrated into our platform, infrastructure, and internal tooling
AI at Gravitee is not about shortcuts - it is about working smarter, faster, and more sustainably at scale.
The right candidate will possess at least the following skills:
5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure management
Fluency with creating and managing Kubernetes clusters and Helm-based deployments
Strong understanding of infrastructure and deployment automation
Experience with Terraform, Docker, and certificate management (ZeroSSL, Let's Encrypt)
Experience with continuous delivery tools (Argo Workflows, ArgoCD, Helm Charts)
Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus)
Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning
Patient, resilient problem-solver with great attention to detail
Additionally, these skills are not required but preferable:
Experience with API Management or Identity and Access Management platforms
Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure requirements and GPU workload orchestration
Experience supporting AI Gateway or LLM-serving infrastructure
Knowledge of networking, service mesh, and traffic management patterns
At Gravitee, we believe strongly in living our core values as a team and as a company. We do not just write them - we live them:
Passion: We bring excitement to everything we do, constantly innovating to stay ahead of the curve.
Hold Nothing Back: We go above and beyond to help customers and teammates succeed, holding ourselves to the highest standards.
Professionalism: We believe in clear, respectful communication and prioritize the needs of our team and customers.
