Plant Manager

Summary:

The Plant Manager is the top level accountability in the Building 2 business unit. The Plant Manager steers the course of the business by providing planning to meet the corporate business objectives (Strategic), while being responsible for day to day activities within their business units (Tactical). Using the CPS Core Values, Plant Managers are expected to balance being People Focused, Customer Focused, and CPS Focused. All are important and one cannot overshadow the other two or cultural dysfunction will result. Plant Managers need to work through others to be successful, meaning they need to demonstrate excellent communication, accountability, and critical thinking (decision making) attributes in their work behaviors.
