## Job Summary
The **Performance Marketing Manager** will be responsible for managing end-to-end paid acquisition campaigns across platforms such as Google, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), and YouTube. The role involves planning budgets, executing and optimizing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive growth and revenue. The candidate will play a key role in building brand awareness, demand generation, and ensuring efficient use of advertising spend to meet business objectives.
## Responsibilities
- Own **Google Ads** campaigns including Brand Search, Non-Brand Search, Performance Max (PMax), and YouTube. Manage budgets, bidding strategies, keywords, negative keywords, and impression share.
- Manage **Meta Ads** campaigns by structuring campaigns, defining target audiences, testing creatives, and setting up conversions with CAPI (Conversions API) and event match quality.
- Oversee **Google Merchant Center** operations, ensuring feed health, product data quality, resolving disapprovals, and optimizing how product feeds support PMax and Shopping campaigns.
- Execute top-of-funnel campaigns across Meta and Google to build reach and search demand, connecting these efforts to performance campaigns for conversion.
- Plan monthly ad spend and targets by channel and product, tracking daily performance against set goals.
- Run paid media campaigns around product launches, including pre-launch buildup, initial week sales, and post-launch sustainment.
- Measure campaign effectiveness using metrics such as MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio), ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), incrementality, attribution windows, and reconcile platform data with actual revenue.
- Collaborate with Operations to manage COD (Cash on Delivery) share and RTO (Return to Origin), adjusting targeting and messaging to optimize unit economics.
- Monitor competitors and marketplace bidding on brand terms to protect brand integrity and act against impersonation.
- Provide clear, data-backed briefs to creative and product teams for campaign and product development.
- Maintain clean, automated reporting through dashboards, ensuring consistent and accurate performance tracking.
## Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing paid media campaigns for a D2C or eCommerce brand in India, with significant monthly budgets.
- Hands-on experience with **Google Ads** and **Meta Ads Manager**, including campaign setup, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong data skills, proficient in **Google Sheets/Excel**, and familiar with **GA4**, **Shopify**, **Search Console**, and data connectors like Windsor.ai or similar. SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Creative instinct with the ability to craft compelling angles and hooks, and brief both top-of-funnel and performance ads aligned with brand identity.
- Working knowledge of **Google Merchant Center** and product feed management.
- Understanding of Indian D2C market realities such as **COD**, **RTO**, marketplaces, festive sales, and revenue metrics (gross vs. net).
- Disciplined testing approach, understanding how bid and budget adjustments impact learning and campaign stability.
- Clear, concise communication skills, capable of explaining data insights and recommended actions briefly and effectively.

- Experience with fashion, footwear, or sneaker culture.
- Experience using **YouTube** as a top-of-funnel channel to generate search demand.
- Familiarity with **WhatsApp** and email lifecycle marketing, and how paid media and retention strategies complement each other.
## Experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in paid media management for D2C or eCommerce brands, particularly within the Indian market.
