Department Overview

- This position is part of the "Rakuten Marketing Japan Department / Linkshare Japan Business," which is the marketing specialized organization within the Ad & Media Company.
- We advocate "Performance Based Marketing For All Channels" and strive to provide multi-faceted solutions to the diverse business challenges faced by our clients, while continuously seeking to resolve them.

Position:

Why We Hire

- The Rakuten Marketing Japan Department is one of the core entities within the Rakuten Group, boasting over 20 years of history as a specialized internet advertising business in the digital marketing domain. This makes us a rare and valuable asset among the more than 70 services offered by the Rakuten Group.
- All employees are primarily affiliated with Rakuten Group, Inc., and are committed to the overall growth of the Group. We are actively working to establish the rapidly expanding advertising-related business as the fourth pillar of Rakuten's entire business portfolio.
- With the full-scale progression of cookie regulations, we are seeking professionals to achieve further business growth through full-funnel solutions. These solutions leverage our first-party data (Rakuten ID data), which is based on factual information such as Japan's largest-scale purchase and credit card payment data, rather than assumptions. Additionally, we utilize cutting-edge and unique global solutions that we exclusively handle in Japan, and our proprietary media network.
- Develop innovative digital marketing strategies based on a deep understanding of the market and customers, maximizing the use of Rakuten Group assets.
- Actively incorporate AI and the latest ad technologies to plan and execute effective measures.
- Conduct data-driven decision-making and perform advertising operations and consulting to maximize ad performance.
