People & Culture Manager I Opening Mama Shelter Mexico City

YOUR MISSION?

You’re Mama’s favorite person when it comes to People & Culture!

As the key link between the General Manager and the central People & Culture team, you will be responsible for the overall management and administration of our people operations.

You’ll be the People & Culture ambassador for a team of around 80 talents, creating the warm, fun, slightly crazy and friendly atmosphere Mama is known for.

Our teams should always feel they are in good hands with you. You’ll make sure every team member experiences the true Mama experience, while creating a positive, inspiring workplace where everyone can grow and thrive.

You will recruit new talent, ensure a warm and memorable onboarding experience, and support our Heads of Department both in their leadership responsibilities and in their day-to-day operations.

IS THIS YOU? ONLY IF…

You have at least 5 years of professional Human Resources / People & Culture experience in Mexico.

The sun always shines around you — good vibes only!

Your door is always open, and you’re always ready to listen.

Confidentiality comes naturally to you. You are someone the team can truly trust.

You can spot talent from a mile away.

You love being where the action is and would rather work alongside the team than spend your entire day behind a desk.

You have natural authority, combined with a heart of gold.

You are fluent in English.

YOUR LITTLE EXTRAS

You never forget a birthday and somehow always find the perfect gift.

You work independently while maintaining a close partnership with your General Manager.

You are determined, you see every project through to completion, and you keep your best smile along the way.

AND NOW YOU KNOW THE TUNE…

First verse: No AI screening at Mama! Every application is personally reviewed, and we take the time to get to know your story.

Second verse: First, you’ll have a phone conversation with our People & Culture team to see if we’re a good match.

Chorus: After the phone interview, we’ll invite you to an online or face-to-face conversation.

Final verse: Of course, you’ll hear back from us within two to three weeks at the latest, whether the answer is ✔️ or ✖️.
