In this role, you’ll play an active part in driving online growth, managing campaigns independently from strategy through to execution.

In managing your own portfolio of leading (international) brands, such as Victoria’s Secret, Miele, and Action, you will execute data-driven, innovative bidding strategies that directly contribute to revenue and scale performance efficiently. Joining us means stepping into an open, collaborative environment. You’ll work on high impact projects while constantly exchanging knowledge, building your expertise, and sharing innovations with search experts across our EMEA offices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage multi-market paid search and shopping campaigns for clients;
• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and opportunities for campaign optimisation;
• Lean into automation and use of data within campaigns, including utilising AI to improve performance;
• Create and optimize paid search campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads and Bing Ads;
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and provide regular reports to clients, highlighting key metrics and recommendations for improvement;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in paid search advertising;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and alignment with client goals;
• Stay informed about changes in search engine algorithms and adjust strategies accordingly;
• Carry out technical analysis, content & authority analysis;
• Set up implementation plans and workflows;
• Respond to client (internal and external) briefs;
• Report on activity on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis;
• Have direct client communication.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Prior experience (at least 2-3 years) in managing and optimising paid search & shopping campaigns, preferably within a digital agency or similar environment;
• Strong knowledge of paid search platforms, such as Google Ads and Bing Ads;
• Experience with client communication;
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive campaign optimisation;
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in the use of Excel/Sheets and familiarity with Word/Docs and PowerPoint/Slides;
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with a high attention to detail;
• Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment;
• Directly available to start working from either our Amsterdam or Rotterdam office;
• Full working proficiency in both English and Dutch;

WE OFFER

• A flexible, hybrid working policy (2-3 days from the office, depending on location) and the opportunity to work from abroad for 13 weeks a year.
• 24 vacation days per year and the possibility to buy an unlimited number of extra vacation days.

WHY DEPT®?

We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA.

We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.

At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.

DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

At DEPT®, we take pride in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We actively seek to recruit, develop, nurture, and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varying skills and perspectives.

Not sure you meet all qualifications? Apply, and let us decide! Research shows that women and members of underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs when they think they may not meet every requirement, when in fact they do. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance to shine.

We also encourage you to reach out to us and discuss any reasonable adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process and your time with us.
