Paid Media Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Paid Media Manager based in Brazil.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced paid media professional within a fast-growing digital marketing environment. You will own a portfolio of client accounts from strategy and campaign execution through reporting and performance optimization. As the primary paid media contact, you will work directly with clients, present results, and guide strategic decisions without an Account Management layer between you and the customer. The role spans Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and multiple campaign formats including Search, Shopping, Display, Video, and Performance Max. You will manage significant advertising budgets while identifying opportunities to improve ROI and accelerate account growth. Starting as an individual contributor, you will also have the opportunity to grow into a formal team leadership role.

• Serve as the primary paid media contact for a portfolio of approximately 5–7 clients, leading client-facing conversations and providing strategic guidance across their advertising programs.

• Present monthly performance reports, clearly explain campaign results and business metrics, communicate challenges or underperformance, and recommend actionable next steps.

• Plan, build, manage, and optimize multi-channel campaigns across Search, Display, Performance Max, Shopping, Video, and Paid Social, managing approximately $30K–$50K in monthly ad spend per client portfolio.

• Continuously test and optimize ad copy, bidding strategies, audiences, budgets, and campaign structures to improve performance and maximize return on investment.

• Analyze budget pacing, monthly business metrics, performance trends, and campaign data to identify issues, opportunities, and areas for growth.

• Use third-party platforms and AI-powered tools to improve campaign setup, tracking, reporting, and operational efficiency.

• Identify new growth opportunities within client accounts and remain current on advertising platform developments, industry trends, and emerging paid media practices.

• Represent client objectives and business priorities internally, ensuring campaign strategies remain aligned with broader goals.

• Mentor and support the next Paid Media team member as the function expands, with the opportunity to grow into a formal team leadership position.

Requirements:

• Bring 4+ years of hands-on paid media management experience, with strong expertise in Google Ads and solid experience across paid social channels.

• Have recent experience working in a digital marketing agency in a client-facing capacity; candidates whose recent experience is exclusively in-house, SaaS/ad-tech, or freelance environments do not meet the core requirement.

• Demonstrate direct client-facing experience, including presenting performance reports, discussing results, answering paid media questions, and acting as a trusted point of contact for clients.

• Have experience managing, mentoring, or formally leading other team members, along with a clear interest in progressing toward a team leadership role.

• Demonstrate a stable professional track record with meaningful tenure in recent positions and be comfortable providing context for any shorter employment periods.

• Be proficient across Google Ads, including Search, Display, Performance Max, Shopping, and YouTube, as well as Microsoft Ads and paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

• Possess strong campaign reporting, budget management, performance analysis, and data interpretation skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.

• Have strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to communicate performance insights clearly to both clients and internal stakeholders.

• Be analytical, detail-oriented, highly organized, comfortable working under deadlines, receptive to feedback, and committed to continuous professional growth.

• Be willing to complete a practical hands-on exercise using a live advertising account as part of the hiring process.

• Experience with third-party or AI-powered tools for campaign setup, tracking, or reporting is considered an advantage.

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline is a plus.

Benefits:

• Competitive compensation of $3,000–$3,500 USD per month, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.

• 100% remote work arrangement.

• Opportunity to work with clients across multiple industries and manage diverse paid media programs.

• Hands-on ownership of significant multi-channel advertising portfolios and substantial monthly budgets.

• Direct client exposure and the opportunity to become a strategic advisor on paid media performance.

• Opportunity to develop leadership responsibilities and mentor future team members.

• Exposure to AI-powered and third-party tools that support modern digital advertising workflows.

• Opportunity to work across leading advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

• Professional growth in a fast-paced digital marketing environment focused on performance, innovation, and continuous learning.
