Paid Marketing/Growth Marketing Manager (f/m/x)

Welcome to Tourlane! We're a traveltech company on a mission to provide the best experience in travel.

We know that vacation time is precious. Our goal is to help customers discover the world and create lasting memories. That’s why our ambition is to offer the best experience in travel by empowering travel planners to craft extraordinary, personalized journeys that go beyond the ordinary, because we believe life is too short for standard travel.

We provide fully personalized, multi-stop trips to 60 destinations around the world and counting. With over 150,000 travelers in the DACH region, France and the US, we’re on our way to becoming Europe’s, and the World's, leading travel company.

We're looking for a Paid Growth / Performance Marketing Manager to join our team and embark on this journey with us. Reporting into the Head of Paid Growth, you'll co-own the optimization of our paid acquisition engine — steering Paid Search, Paid Social and emerging performance channels, while shaping the full journey from click to conversion to revenue.

This is a hands-on commercial role in a scale-up with constant adaptation to market trends based off of data. You’ll be working closely with multiple areas of the business on our current 3 main markets, and expanding into a further 4 to 6 new markets over the next 4 years.

What you'll do:

• Co-own paid performance: Take shared ownership of Paid Search, Paid Social and other performance channels, driving agreed growth and efficiency targets while steering agencies and freelancers accordingly.

• Build a testing engine: Design and run a structured testing roadmap across campaigns, bidding, audiences, creatives and landing pages.

• See the full funnel: Identify weaknesses across traffic → landing page → conversion → revenue, and turn them into actionable experiments.

• Explore new frontiers: Test and evaluate new performance channels, automation opportunities, and AI-driven growth plays.

• Turn data into action: Improve reporting and analysis so that performance insights translate into clear decisions and next steps.

• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Data, Product/CRO, Creative and Content teams to unlock full-funnel improvements.

• Own end-to-end: Become a highly independent owner of projects rather than requiring detailed day-to-day direction.

• Deliver on KPIs: Drive growth across CAC, ROAS, conversion rate, lead quality and revenue through a well-executed paid growth strategy.

What you'll bring:

• Hands-on experience in Performance Marketing / Paid Growth, with meaningful ownership of campaigns and budgets.

• Strong practical experience with Google Ads / Paid Search, including campaign optimization, analysis and account development.

• Hands-on experience with Paid Social, ideally Meta Ads, including campaign and creative performance analysis.

• Experience analyzing customer journeys and conversion funnels beyond media-platform metrics, including landing pages, lead quality and downstream conversions.

• Experience running structured experiments and working cross-functionally with Data & Analytics, Product/CRO, Creative or Content teams.

• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

• Fluent in English.

Skills we're looking for:

• Paid Media Expertise: Strong Paid Search foundations combined with a solid understanding of Paid Social and broader digital acquisition — you know how to make budgets work harder.

• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: You turn complex performance data into clear hypotheses and decisive actions, connecting media metrics to business outcomes.

• Growth & Experimentation Mindset: Hypothesis → test → analysis → learning → scale. You don't guess — you prove.

• Full-Funnel Thinking: You see beyond the platform and understand how landing pages, lead quality and conversion drive real revenue.

• Ownership & Scale-Up Mindset: Flexible, "no box" attitude with a "can-achieve" mentality — you own outputs end to end and thrive in fast-moving environments.

• Collaboration & Curiosity: Strong communicator who partners naturally with Data, Product, Creative and Content — with genuine curiosity for new channels, technologies, automation and AI.

Why join?

A rare opportunity to combine hands-on Paid Media ownership with broader Growth responsibilities. Instead of being limited to managing individual channels, you'll actively influence the full customer journey — from acquisition and landing pages to lead quality, conversion and revenue.

The position offers significant ownership, access to substantial international marketing activity, close collaboration with Data and Product teams, and the opportunity to experiment with new channels, automation and AI.

What we offer:

• Flexible working setup to get the most of your working hours: we offer full flexibility in our Hybrid/Remote model, however we do expect that you take advantage of our lively Berlin office 2 days per week.

• Access to internal travel discounts on our platform plus outside travel industry discounts on hotels, rentals, transport and a lot more.

• Annual €600 self-development budget.

• We share your passion for traveling: enjoy working abroad through our program (5 months per year, inside and outside of EU!)

• We support all the diverse communities that make us Tourlane: join or create your own Employee Resource Group (ERG) and connect with Tourlaneans.

• Dog-friendly office: we can't wait to meet your furry friend!
