An Oracle Database Engineer role administering enterprise databases on Exadata Cloud Service and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Day-to-day work spans Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, ASM, Data Guard disaster recovery, RMAN backups, and performance tuning with AWR/ASH/ADDM for an international team.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration within enterprise or cloud environments.
- Deep technical expertise in Oracle Database 19c / 26ai.
- Proven experience administering databases on Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) or Exadata hardware.
- Core proficiency in Oracle RAC, Grid Infrastructure, and ASM.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Data Guard setup, failover/switchover processes, and disaster recovery architectures.
- Advanced experience with RMAN for backup, recovery, and database cloning strategies.
- Solid background in database performance tuning and diagnostics using AWR, ASH, and ADDM.
- Experience operating within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
- Fluent English communication skills for working in an international team setup.
Preferred Certifications
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – Oracle Database 19c or later.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect / Operations Professional Certification.
- Oracle Exadata Database Machine / ExaCS Certified Specialist.
