As part of the VSP family, the practice is based on the philosophy of delivering the highest quality, comprehensive vision care, specializing in ocular diseases, pediatric eye care, ortho-k lenses, and specialty contact lenses. Offering a large selection of trendy eyewear and the latest in contact lens technology, patients can't go wrong with Eagle Vision Eye Care.

What you'll do?

This is an excellent full-time opportunity to care for a dynamic member base and work with a wide array of conditions. As a member of the Eagle Vision Eye Care team, you'll work in a modern, dynamic, state-of-the-art practice in the Sacramento location. You'll provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and visual and medical conditions, educate patients about their ocular health, and recommend vision-enhancing products—a typical day consists of 22 patients. You'll have access to advanced diagnostic technology, including Optos and fundus photography. Both locations are entirely cloud-based, supporting a paperless environment that enables electronic medical records and charting from anywhere—plus a highly trained staff to support you throughout examinations. The position is Monday through Friday and potentially select Saturdays.

Who you are:

You're an ambitious and compassionate Optometrist who strives to consistently exceed patient expectations while providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health and vision care. You enjoy caring for a diverse patient population and are an excellent listener who genuinely cares about patients. You consistently stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and lens technologies to ensure patients are aware of the visual solutions that will meet their individual needs. Eagle Vision Eye Care offers medical insurance, paid personal and sick time off, malpractice insurance, continuing education allowance, and more. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Why you'll love the Sacramento Area:

Located in America's farm-to-fork capital, Sacramento offers local artisanal coffee and craft brews, picturesque neighborhoods, freshwater rivers and lakes, and culturally rich activities and events. One of its greatest advantages is the ideal weather—hot summers with low humidity and cool nights, plus mild winters and subtle weather changes that allow the changing of seasons. Its proximity to some of California's most visited destinations—Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, Napa, Monterey, Santa Cruz, and Yosemite, to name a few—makes it an ideal place to call home.
