Operations Support Specialist
Summary of Position
The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical and administrative support for the day-to-day operations of a business. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of systems and processes, and providing administrative support.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide technical support to customers and staff, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor system performance and ensure that all systems and processes are running efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Comfort using common office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
- A resourceful and practical approach to solving daily challenges and saving money
- Commitment to accuracy in tasks such as data entry and scheduling
- The ability to switch between tasks and respond to changing priorities
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to work well with many personalities
- Initiative-taking and self-reliant attitude
- Ability to manage sensitive or confidential company information appropriately
- Perform system maintenance tasks, including system upgrades and patches.
- Generate reports, analyze data, and document processes.
- Provide administrative support to staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Proven experience in system administration and technical support.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Process Optimization: Analyze manufacturing data to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve operational flow.
- Documentation Control: Create, revise, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
- Quality & Compliance: Support quality investigations, conduct safety audits, and assist with root cause analysis (CAPA).
- Inventory & Logistics: Coordinate with vendors, submit purchase orders, and monitor inventory levels of raw materials and parts.
- Cross-Functional Support: Function as the primary liaison between production, maintenance, administration and supply chain teams to resolve daily operational bottlenecks.

Working Conditions

and service to facilities, machines, and vehicles.
