Purpose of the role:
Our Operational Support team is looking for an intern for a duration of 6 to 9 months. Your internship would cover the Operational Support activities with a focus on client’s credit cards management. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic Operations department within the Private Banking sector.
Job description/ key responsibilities:
Credit Cards issuance
- Support the end-to-end processing of new credit card requests, replacements, renewals and additional cards
- Review requests and supporting documentation to ensure completeness before processing
- Enter and/or verify card-related information in the relevant banking and card management systems
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external card providers to follow up on card issuance and delivery
- Monitor outstanding requests and ensure timely follow-up until completion
- Support the maintenance and updating of client and card information in the relevant systems
- Assist with the management of credit limits, card types and card parameters, in accordance with internal procedures and approval workflows
- Ensure appropriate documentation and audit trail for processed requests
- Support the handling of day-to-day requests and queries related to credit cards received from Relationship Managers and other internal stakeholders
- Assist with requests relating to PIN management, card activation, card blocking/unblocking, replacement, renewal and cancellation
- Support the processing of requests relating to credit limit changes, transaction limits and card settings
- Follow up on declined transactions, card usage issues and other operational incidents with the relevant service providers
- Assist with the investigation and follow-up of card-related queries, including transaction-related questions when required
- Monitor pending requests and ensure appropriate follow-up and escalation when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of requests and actions performed
- Support the monitoring of the Credit Cards operational mailbox and ensure requests are appropriately classified, prioritized and assigned
- Create, update and follow up operational requests and incidents in JIRA or other workflow management tools
- Participate in the monitoring of operational KPIs such as request volumes, processing times, backlog and types of requests
- Assist in identifying recurring issues, bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement
- Contribute to the documentation and continuous improvement of Credit Cards procedures and workflows
- Support the development of simple dashboards, reporting tools and operational statistics
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving the automation and digitalisation of Credit Cards processes
- Assist the team with ad-hoc Operational Support activities and projects when required
Education:
- Currently pursuing or just finished a master’s degree in finance or equivalent

Technical skills:
- Strong command in MS office (Excel)
