Network Security Engineer — Remote/Hybrid

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure in a hybrid capacity. The role focuses on protecting critical data and systems while allowing remote collaboration.

Key duties include configuring firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS, performing vulnerability assessments, and monitoring for security incidents in real time. A Bachelor’s in CS or Cybersecurity with 3+ years of experience is required, along with SIEM proficiency.

Design, deploy, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks. Monitor network traffic for anomalies and respond to security incidents in real time. Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into network architecture. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in network security engineering or a similar role. Proficiency in configuring and managing security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
