Network Security Engineer (Hybrid)

Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a Network Security Engineer for a full-time, hybrid position. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure to protect against cyber threats.

The engineer will monitor traffic, analyze incidents, and ensure policy compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices in network architecture.

Design, deploy, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks. Monitor network traffic for anomalies and respond to security incidents in real time. Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into network architecture. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in network security engineering or a similar role. Proficiency in configuring and managing security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network infrastructure. Experience with penetration testing, threat analysis, and incident response.
