Network Security Engineer

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supervision and level 2 to 3 support on the security infrastructure, internet, market data and partners;
• Upgrade and deploy security devices on the network;
• Design solutions for new technologies or versions, client projects and needs, capacity planning and resiliencies;
• Automate perimeter processes and controls;
• Take part in night and weekend operations when needed;
• Be part of the service on-call duty;

On the deployed technologies, perform common operations:

• VIP creation:
• DMZ creation;
• VPN L2L deployment.

Perform basic debug activities:

• Trace on a firewall or a WAF;
• Checking logs.

Perform advanced debug activities:

• Advanced technical commands;
• Checking the status of packets sent for synchronization on a Fortinet.

Handle RMA / installation activities:

• Installation from scratch;
• Configuration;
• Testing.
• Carry out proof of concept activities for new functionality and/or technology.

Requirements:

Experience Level

• More than 5 years of experience working on security infrastructure solutions;

Technical Skills

• Security infrastructure solutions;
• Automation / DevOps;
• Firewall technologies;
• Load-balancing technologies;
• WAF technologies;
• DNS technologies;
• Knowledge of perimeter operations;

Tools

• F5 load balancers;
• Fortinet;
• Palo Alto firewalls;
• Ubika WAF;
• DNS:
• IPS;
• IDS;
• Ansible;
• Python.

Languages
