Network Analyst

Summary

Position Overview:

Boone County Health Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Network Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This position serves as a Tier II/III technical resource, providing advanced IT support, network administration, troubleshooting systems, cybersecurity support, and assistance with technology infrastructure projects. This position plays a key role in maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations while supporting the organization's commitment to patient care, regulatory compliance, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across workstations, applications, user accounts, servers, cloud services, and network infrastructure.
• Support wired and wireless networks, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and cybersecurity technologies.
• Solve complex problems, identifying root causes, improving technology operations, and working with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, communication, customer service, documentation, and problem-solving skills and will be comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of IT experience in technical support, systems administration, network administration, or a related field.
• An associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft/Azure, or SonicWall are beneficial but not required.
• Experience with SonicWall or Check Point firewalls, Cisco switching, and Aruba wireless networking is preferred.
• Participation in the IT on-call rotation and occasional after-hours maintenance or emergency support.
