National Sales Developer

Take Ownership of Building Semin's Presence in the Nordic Market

Semin Group is investing in the Nordic market, and we're looking for someone who wants to be at the centre of that growth. As one of Europe's leading manufacturers of fillers, joint compounds and interior finishing solutions, Semin has built a strong presence across multiple European markets. We are now looking for a National Sales Developer to help establish and grow our business across the Nordic region.

This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and developing business in the construction industry. You'll be responsible for introducing the Semin brand, developing customer relationships and building a strong market presence across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. While your activities may initially be focused on your local market, your role will contribute to Semin's growth across the Nordics.

If you enjoy being out with customers, developing new business and taking ownership of your results, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

Your mission is simple: Build Semin's position across the Nordic region.

While your initial activities may be concentrated in your local market, your responsibility will extend across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. You will identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with key customers and distributors, and help establish Semin as a recognised partner throughout the Nordic construction industry.

You will have significant freedom to shape your approach, influence market development, and create new business opportunities across the region. Working closely with colleagues across Europe, you'll play a direct role in strengthening Semin's Nordic presence and supporting the company's continued international growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities

• Build relationships with distributors, builders' merchants, wholesalers and key decision-makers

• Introduce Semin's products and solutions to the market

• Win new customers and grow existing business opportunities

• Visit customers and maintain a strong presence in the field

• Represent Semin at industry events, trade fairs and exhibitions

• Develop and execute your own business development strategy

• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline

• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity

• Work closely with international colleagues to support growth and customer success

Who We Are Looking For

You understand how the construction industry works. You know how to build relationships, identify opportunities and convert them into business. Most importantly, you enjoy creating something new rather than simply maintaining what already exists.

• A proven track record in new business development

• Experience working with distributors, builders’ merchants, wholesalers or related sales channels

• A strong network within the construction sector

• Experience managing your own territory and customer relationships

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Fluency in Swedish or Danish

• A valid driving license

Meritorious

• Experience introducing products or brands into new markets

• Experience selling fillers, drywall systems, construction chemicals, insulation

  products or similar solutions

• Experience working in an international organisation

• Experience working remotely and independently

You'll Succeed in This Role If You

• Enjoy meeting customers and building relationships

• Are motivated by finding and winning new business

• Take initiative and work well independently

• Are resilient and comfortable overcoming obstacles

• Enjoy travel and spending time in the field

• Have an entrepreneurial mindset

• Want to have a direct impact on business growth

This role involves extensive travel and regular customer visits. Success comes from being visible in the market, understanding customer needs and building long-term relationships.
