Municipal Account Manager.
Location Hybrid, with travel throughout Pennsylvania
We are seeking an experienced commercial truck sales professional to manage three of our most important public sector accounts. This role owns the relationships and the work behind each contract: understanding agency needs, coordinating specifications and pricing, preparing bids, and guiding orders through delivery.
These accounts operate primarily through bid contracts. Success requires someone who can plan for annual award cycles, work closely with internal teams, and earn the agencies’ trust over time.
What you will do
- Serve as the primary account manager for Key Municipal Accounts within AOR
- Manage bid opportunities from early planning through submission and award.
- Coordinate truck specifications, pricing, and contract requirements with sales leadership, manufacturers, and internal teams.
- Track orders, production, delivery, and payment; keep agency contacts informed throughout the process.
- Resolve issues promptly and maintain accurate account, bid, and order records.
- Build long-term relationships that support contract retention and future awards.

What we are looking for
- Significant experience in commercial truck sales, fleet sales, or public sector account management.
- A working understanding of government bids, contract pricing, and procurement requirements.
- Strong knowledge of vocational trucks and the ability to coordinate complex specifications.
- Excellent organization, follow-through, and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently in a remote role and travel to customer meetings and company locations as needed.
