Motion Designer

Motion Designer (Part-Time)

• Flexible part-time hours (2–3 days a week) that fit around your schedule
• Work across exciting fashion, lifestyle and beauty brands
• Performance incentives for exceptional work

This posting is for expressions of interest only — we're not filling this role immediately, but we're building a talent pool of motion designers to reach out to as soon as a suitable position opens up.

About Us

We are a digital performance marketing and growth agency for fashion, lifestyle and beauty brands.

With over a decade of experience, we've earned the trust of premium brands and retailers, and are leading the way in e-commerce growth. Our team of deep thinkers and creative minds are united in delivering exceptional results for our clients. We're expanding our client portfolio and are looking for thoughtful digital marketers to join us!

Your Opportunity

We're searching for a talented and detail-obsessed Motion Designer to join us part-time (2–3 days a week), bringing our clients' paid social and organic content to life through animation and video. On a day-to-day basis, you will:

• Edit and animate short-form video for Reels, TikTok, and Stories across multiple client accounts.
• Animate static carousel and single-image assets into scroll-stopping motion content.
• Build motion graphics for paid social ad creative, working closely with the paid social and creative teams.
• Create story-specific motion assets — polls, countdowns, stat callouts, transitions — for always-on content.
• Edit raw footage from client shoots and UGC into polished, on-brand short-form content.
• Apply captioning, sound design, and pacing built for scroll-stopping performance, not just polish.
• Work from brand guidelines and templates to keep motion content consistent across clients.
• Support structured creative testing by producing multiple format and style variants for A/B testing.
• Manage your own workload and deadlines across several client accounts at once.
• Collaborate with the creative and paid social teams to translate performance insights into creative direction.

Experience you'll bring

This ideal candidate brings a positive and thoughtful attitude to everything they do. They are a team player and a straight shooter. They'll also:

• Have 2–4 years' experience in motion design or video editing, ideally within an agency or in-house social/content team.
• Be highly skilled in After Effects and Premiere Pro (or equivalent), with a strong eye for pacing, sound, and typography in motion.
• Have a portfolio that shows short-form social content — Reels, TikTok, Stories — not just brand or broadcast work.
• Understand what makes content perform on social (hooks, pacing, captions) as well as what makes it look good.
• Be highly organised and comfortable managing multiple client briefs and deadlines within a part-time schedule.
• Align with our core company values.

Our hiring approach

We've designed our recruitment process to be open, supportive, and thoughtful of your time. Each stage is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better and make informed decisions. We'll typically follow the steps below:

• Screening: Our hiring team will review your CV, cover letter, and screening questions.
• Culture-Fit Interview: This interview is designed to help us assess alignment on core values and ways of working.
• Portfolio & Technical Review: We'll go deep on your show reel, technical process, and editing choices. You may be asked to do a short, paid test edit, but we'll let you know beforehand.
• Reference Checks and Offer: At this final stage, we'll do reference checks with two contacts before extending you an offer.

Don't tick all the boxes?

While a stellar CV and portfolio are important, we care more about you, the person. If you're passionate about motion design, social content, and bringing brands to life through video, we'd love to hear from you.
