#### Job description
As a Modeler (weapons and vehicles) at Ubisoft Montreal, you will give shape to the objects and elements that make up the 3D universe of a Ubisoft game. Using studio tools and specialized software, you will create and texture weapons, vehicles, accessories, and other components to contribute to an immersive and visually consistent gaming experience. By collaborating closely with the creative and production teams, you will help design harmonious environments that respect both artistic intentions and technical constraints.
**What you will do**
- Collaborate with the **art** and **narrative** teams to understand the creative and artistic visions of the game
- Create **prototypes** and final models that support the project's visual identity
- Design and model 3D elements based on visual references, blueprints, or original concepts
- Apply **textures** adapted to the artistic and technical needs of the project
- Integrate and validate 3D elements in the **game engine** to ensure their visual quality and proper functionality
- Work with the **design**, **modeling**, **programming**, and **texture art** teams to ensure the visual consistency of game elements
- Adjust your creations based on feedback from testing teams, development teams, and production partners
- Respect constraints related to **memory**, **rendering**, and game optimization
- Use internal and external tools to improve your work methods and the visual quality of models
- Follow advancements in **3D modeling** and industry trends to develop your technical knowledge
#### Qualifications
**What you bring to the team**
- Mastery of **3D modeling** and **texture** application
- Use of software such as **3DS Max**, **Maya**, **Blender**, **Substance Painter**, **ZBrush**, or similar tools
- Use of 2D art tools like **Photoshop**
- Ability to effectively organize your priorities in an evolving production environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and communicate clearly
- Curiosity and openness to feedback and adjustments
- Demonstrated interest in **automotive design**, **mechanical design**, or **industrial design**
