Builds the distributed networking, messaging, and orchestration backbone that connects Anduril's autonomous aircraft (Fury, Barracuda) to command and control via Lattice OS. Day to day: writing resilient distributed services in C++/Rust on Linux, debugging multi-hop routes and packet captures, and field-testing multi-vehicle operations.
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) is responsible for autonomous robotics systems like the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda family of advanced effects. Our engineers develop the services that integrate with Lattice OS, coordinate fleets of vehicles in the field, and task and manage mission payloads and effects. We are looking for engineers excited to own from cradle-to-grave resilient, distributed mission software that supports the full range of AD&S initiatives: from early concept simulation to live operations and large scale fleet management.
