Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking a part-time Middle School Soccer Coach. The Middle School Coach is directly accountable to the Athletic Director, and works with the Athletic Director and the Associate Athletic Director to ensure that the athletic program they are coaching reflects the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart education.
Responsibilities Include:
- Organizing and planning practices
- Communicating weekly schedules with parents and athletic department
- Inspiring confidence and modeling good sportsmanship
- Being a teacher of the game emphasizing skill development, fair play, and fun
- Availability to attend all practices and games
- Any other tasks delegated by the Athletic Director and/or the Associate Athletic Director
Preferred Qualifications:
- Applicants must be available for practices and games 2-3 days per week from 3:30-5:00. Game times and schedules will vary from week to week. Also, may include some weekends. The coaching position lasts roughly two months.
- Experience of the sport
