Mid-senior software engineer developing real-time C/C++ software and Angular user interfaces for U.S. Department of Defense programs, including UAV command-and-control related work. The role is remote with 50% travel to Hollywood, MD and requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot real-time software in C/C++.

Develop and maintain Angular user interfaces and integrate them with supporting application functionality.

Translate program requirements into software designs and implementations in collaboration with engineering teams.

Test and debug software components, investigate integration issues, and implement corrective changes.

Support multiple programs simultaneously.

Maintain technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and coordinate development and issue resolution with distributed team members
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret clearance (Active clearance preferred)
Years of Experience and Education: Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field with 10+ years relevant experience.

Ability to design, implement, integrate, test, and troubleshoot software components and user interfaces

Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and communicate technical work in a remote work environment

Experience developing in an Agile environment
