Mid-Senior Legal Counsel - Archblock

About the project

Sky, formerly MakerDAO, is one of the largest decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. Since
2015, it has consistently delivered innovations that have shaped the space. Sky was
established soon after the announcement of Ethereum and the birth of the idea of a
Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). As the creator of Dai, Sky has established
itself as one of the most prominent DeFi protocols. Dai itself is the first widely adopted
decentralized, collateral-backed stablecoin.

Sky embodies core crypto principles like openness, decentralization, and transparent
governance while pursuing real-world impact and ambitious goals. Its decentralized stablecoin
Dai, signature governance solutions, and pioneering focus on real-world assets (RWAs) have
been central to its success. Today, Sky is a 10 billion USD protocol driven by the plan to bring it
to the next rapid phase.

Recently, Sky entered a new chapter with the introduction of the Endgame Plan. This plan
includes upgraded versions of its tokens, including USDS (the upgraded version of Dai),
advanced governance mechanisms centered on a rule-based system known as the Atlas, and
new protocol features. Additionally, Sky has expanded its focus to encompass AI initiatives and
introduced an innovative structure of SubDAOs (Stars), such as Spark, contributing to the
broader ecosystem's growth.

As part of the Endgame Plan, new structures have emerged in the Sky Ecosystem. One is
Archon Financial, which focuses on user interactions with decentralized protocols.

About the company

Archon Financial is a fintech company that provides a broad audience with easy access to DeFi.
Its affiliate entity, Skybase, operates the Sky.money frontend user interface, which serves as a
gateway to the Sky Protocol. We leverage AI tools to eliminate entry barriers for users seeking
to interact with crypto and digital assets, with a particular emphasis on the Sky Ecosystem. Our
legal-first approach emphasizes global regulatory compliance with a focus on tailoring
frontend solutions to meet specific jurisdictional requirements.

With long experience working with the Sky Ecosystem and DAOs in general, we are uniquely
positioned to capitalize on the opportunities presented by Sky’s Endgame Plan. Our deep
understanding of the ecosystem creates an exceptional advantage in our collaborations with
decentralized participants.
