D&G Solutions is seeking a Cloud Business Intelligence Analyst to support USTRANSCOM's cloud modernization initiatives. In this role, you will develop and maintain business intelligence solutions, modernize legacy reporting capabilities, and deliver dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide actionable insights to Government stakeholders and mission users.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, enhance, test, deploy, and maintain SQL queries, views, reporting datasets, and data transformations using relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora/RDS), along with Apache Superset dashboards, reports, datasets, charts, filters, calculated metrics, visualizations, and other business intelligence products supporting IGC reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making.
• Work with Government stakeholders, Product Owners, cloud migration team, functional analysts, and mission users to understand reporting and analytical requirements and translate them into secure and reliable reporting capabilities (i.e. dashboards, reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and decision-support products).
• Validate dashboard calculations, business rules, filters, metrics, SQL results, source data, and report outputs to ensure analytical products are accurate, consistent, traceable, and reliable.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy reports, including SAP Business Objects or comparable reporting products, into Apache Superset or other Government-approved analytics and visualization technologies.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all objects and processes generated.
• Participate in Agile delivery activities, including requirements refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, testing, backlog development, and stakeholder reviews.

What We Are Looking For

Required

• 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, data visualization, analytics, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and related items for executives using an enterprise business intelligence platform.
• Strong SQL skills, including experience querying, joining, aggregating, filtering, and analyzing data from relational databases.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, data modeling concepts, reporting datasets, data relationships, and query optimization.
• Experience translating business, mission, or operational requirements into reports, dashboards, metrics, visualizations, and analytical products.
• Experience validating data, calculations, business rules, report outputs, and dashboard results to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends and anomalies, troubleshoot data and reporting issues, and communicate findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Experience documenting data definitions, metrics, reporting logic, analytical requirements, and dashboard functionality.
• Ability to manage multiple analytical and reporting requirements while maintaining attention to detail, data quality, and mission relevance.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical or analytical discipline; or one current certification from the following: Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), CyberSec First Responder (CFR), Federal IT Security Professional–Manager (FITSP-M), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), CompTIA Security+, or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).

Preferred

• Experience developing and administering Apache Superset objects and role-based access controls.
• Experience modernizing or migrating SAP Business Objects or other legacy enterprise reporting capabilities to Apache Superset or another modern BI platform.
• Experience with Python, particularly for data analysis, data preparation, automation, validation, or supporting Apache Superset capabilities.
• Experience with data profiling, data-quality analysis, reconciliation, metadata management, or data-governance practices.
• Experience working with relational database technologies (i.e. PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL).
• Experience creating executive, operational, performance, readiness, or mission-focused dashboards and reports.
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab, CI/CD processes, Docker, or comparable technologies used to manage and deploy BI configuration, SQL, or analytical assets.
• Experience supporting transportation, logistics, cargo, passenger, asset-visibility, readiness, or other mission-oriented data and reporting capabilities.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity, RMF, data-access controls, and security requirements applicable to enterprise analytics and reporting environments.

Clearance and Eligibility

• Active DoD Secret clearance required with eligibility for TS/SCI.
• This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

• Hybrid in support of USTRANSCOM at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
