Position Mission: Serve as CBIZ’s primary point of contact for the Microsoft Partner Relationship, driving measurable value from the partnership by defining and executing the strategy to leverage Microsoft funding programs and co-sell channels in alignment with CBIZ company goals and objectives.
CBIZ is seeking a Microsoft Alliance Manager to own and strengthen our relationship with Microsoft. This role is responsible for maximizing the value of Microsoft programs, incentives, and partnerships. You will act as the internal expert and external liaison, ensuring our organization has defined the strategy and executing the tactics necessary for CBIZ to achieve all applicable partner statuses. The role will also focus on accessing Microsoft funding and lead generation programs, and ultimately responsible for overall Microsoft partnership success. You will work closely with global and regional stakeholders to align skilling and proof of execution to ensure Microsoft program eligibility is achieved and maintained.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
8 years of related experience in strategic partnerships, alliances, business development, channel sales, technology consulting, or professional services.
Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships with technology partners, enterprise software providers, cloud providers, or similar ecosystem stakeholders.
Ability to lead and coordinate the activities of others across sales, marketing, delivery, operations, and leadership teams.
Ability to formulate, document, and recommend new policies, processes, procedures, and partnership operating models.
Able to work in and lead a team environment while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving practice.
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
Proficient use of applicable technology, collaboration platforms, customer relationship management tools, and Microsoft 365 applications.
Ability to travel as required based on business, partner, and client needs.
