About TM Forum
TM Forum is an association of more than 850 member companies, which include the world’s top 10 network and communications providers and spans 180 countries. Our members tap into each other’s collective experiences and abilities to collaboratively solve complex industry-wide challenges, deploy new services, and create technology breakthroughs to accelerate change. We help communications service providers (CSPs) and their suppliers to digitally transform and thrive in the digital era. We do this by providing an open, collaborative environment and practical support that enable CSPs and suppliers to rapidly transform their business operations, IT systems, and ecosystems to capitalise on the opportunities presented in a rapidly evolving digital world.

Our vision is to drive the next wave of digital business growth – the digitisation of every industry by providing a common innovation platform that connects businesses, industries, and ecosystems. We do this in a highly practical and agile way through collaboration programs and communities that lead to rapid prototypes, ranging from digital business models to interconnectivity APIs that lead to real world commercial applications. Complementing our collaboration programs, the Forum provides thought-provoking digital business research and publications, industry best practices and standards as well as training programs designed to accelerate adoption. We also deliver events and workshops that bring together leading business & IT executives to learn, network, and develop meaningful partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed the revenue targets for sales of member renewals (primary focus), support the sale of TM Forum services and programmes, including training, coaching, tools, conformance, and certifications and new memberships (secondary focus) – this is primarily an account management role focusing on member retention and services sales within those members. There is some scope for new member acquisition but that is not the primary function of this role.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities in line with regional targets.
Manage member renewals and engagement across named accounts. Maintain accurate Salesforce records and reporting to support effective pipeline management and forecasting.
Broaden and deepen relationships with existing members through effective communication, face-to-face meetings, calls, and targeted use of marketing collateral.
Raise the profile of TM Forum through active participation in relevant industry conferences and events.
Work closely with regional teams, Engagement Managers, and colleagues to share best practices, support account development, and deliver consistent member experiences.
Support the Global Research & Media and Events Sales Teams to unlock opportunities in existing members and beyond.
Work closely with our Program Management, Marketing and Sales Enablement teams to ensure the voice of the members is clearly understood and reflected in our value propositions, marketing positioning, and collateral.
Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive opportunity records, ensuring the organisation can effectively forecast revenue volume and timing.
Develop a strong understanding of the telecommunications and technology landscape, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging challenges to become a trusted advisor to members and identify new opportunities for TM Forum.
Experience and Requirements:
Working experience in the telecoms industry is essential.
Previous account management and sales experience is essential, with the ability to build trusted relationships, identify opportunities for growth, and manage a sales pipeline effectively – this is not an entry level role.
Familiarity with the digital economy is advantageous. Experience of the Indian market and the wider telecommunications ecosystem is essential.
Results-oriented, highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a strong focus on outcomes.
A customer-focused individual who can understand member needs and develop appropriate solutions that deliver value.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels and collaborate effectively across different countries, cultures, and time zones.
Excellent digital and analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to work confidently with CRM, reporting and business support systems.
Experience of structured sales processes, with working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms and other business intelligence platforms being advantageous.
Self-disciplined, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing as part of a close-knit and highly collaborative team.
Curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning. This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in the telecommunications industry, TM Forum's frameworks and programmes, and the challenges facing our members. The successful candidate will be willing to invest time in building this knowledge and expertise.
Comfortable working within a small, geographically distributed regional team. Success in the role requires proactive collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues across different markets and areas of expertise.
