- Design the mechanical systems for data centres (cooling, chilled water, pipework, pumps, chillers), including heat load and hydraulic calculations.
- Prepare tender documents and evaluate contractor and vendor bids, then recommend an award to the client.
- Check site works for quality, and witness testing and commissioning until the system is handed over.
- Work with clients, project managers, contractors, and other disciplines (electrical, architectural, structural, fire) to resolve issues and get approvals.
- Support the Project Director/Manager on delivery, and grow into leading projects and guiding junior engineers.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in an Engineering/M&E Consultancy, or Specialist M&E Contractor for Data-centre works
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline
- Basic knowledge of Project execution processes.
- Advanced knowledge of local code of practice of design implementation.
