The Eclipse Foundation is one of the world’s largest open source software foundations. With over 400 open source projects and collaborations including Open VSX, Adoptium, Jakarta EE, Eclipse IDE, and OpenHW, we serve a global community of millions of developers and more than 300 member organisations. Our mission is to empower developers, enable collaboration, and ensure user freedoms.
We are seeking a versatile Marketing Specialist to contribute across a broad range of marketing activities, including campaigns, content, systems, and reporting. This is an existing role within our team.
The successful candidate will be comfortable shifting between planned initiatives and emerging needs, managing several workstreams at different stages, and delivering accurate, high-quality work within agreed timelines. They will use sound judgement to make progress with limited supervision, while communicating proactively, raising risks early, and seeking input when needed.
As a Marketing Specialist, you will contribute to the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across the Foundation and its working groups. You will work closely with marketing, membership, and community teams to help build, track, and improve campaigns, while maintaining reliable processes, usable data, and clear reporting. We value curiosity, ownership, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
Location: This is a fully remote position. Canada is preferred, but other locations will be considered.
Salary Range: $70K - $77.5K.

Desired skills and experience
We are looking for a capable, motivated marketing professional with a generalist mindset and a strong sense of ownership.
