Marketing Data Analyst

From empowering entrepreneurs to build successful businesses, to supporting their clients to arrange 'me time' moments, we're in the business of elevating people - helping them to thrive and feel fantastic. Lifting others up can be hard, heavy work, and we passionately believe that the sense of purpose and personal satisfaction this brings are worth it.

What started in Poland is now an international, cloud-based marketplace that's scaling rapidly. We bring independent business owners together with their customers on a product that connects creative communities and opens up worlds of opportunities.

For our providers, our products offer services for getting booked, paid, and building a loyal client base. For their clients, we're where they can find their favourite spots, discover new businesses and book appointments in an instant.

Working in a rapidly growing, ever-changing scale-up comes with its own set of opportunities and challenges. If you prefer a stable environment, with clear processes and structures then, we've got to be honest, you won't always find that here. However, if you enjoy inventively solving problems with others, helping create clarity when things get confusing, and prioritising your own path within ambiguity, then the chances are that you'll love the opportunities available to grow your career at Booksy.

The people you'll like to work with and things you'll enjoy impacting:

As a Marketing Data Analyst reporting to our Marketing Analytics Manager in our Marketing Analytics team, your purpose will be to act as strategic co-pilot to our Global Growth and Performance Marketing leadership. You'll own performance diagnostics and reporting (WBR/MBR) across every marketing channel, using Looker and BigQuery to explain not just what happened, but why. You'll partner directly with marketing leadership on media mix and budget decisions, design incrementality and causal impact experiments to prove true marketing lift, help calibrate our Marketing Mix Models alongside our econometrics partners, and champion self-service analytics by scaling our governed Looker semantic layer so regional teams can find their own answers.

Requirements

Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you're going to need…

1. Extensive experience in a commercial, financial, or marketing analytics role, with strong SQL skills and hands-on experience querying complex datasets in a cloud data warehouse (e.g. BigQuery).
2. Expert-level experience with a modern BI platform, ideally Looker (LookML), including building governed semantic layers and intuitive self-serve dashboards.
3. Solid grounding in marketing science - attribution vs. incrementality, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and causal inference methods such as geo-holdout or "go-dark" testing.
4. A track record of turning complex data and statistical models into clear, compelling stories for senior, non-technical stakeholders.
5. At a minimum we require conversational level English language skills. Why? English is our company language and is used for any business-wide communications, so we need you to be able to speak English to feel like an integrated part of Booksy. Given this role's global stakeholder exposure, we're looking for upper-intermediate (B2+) proficiency or above.

It will also help you to have…

1. Commercial fluency - you're comfortable working with revenue, margin, CPA, ROI, and LTV:CAC.
2. Experience collaborating with external econometric or data science partners on MMM calibration.
3. Experience with modern CRM/data stacks (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Data 360) and cross-functional data engineering work.
