About us
InvestorHub is one of Australia's most exciting startups. Dubbed a "potential unicorn" and a member of the Victorian Government's exclusive 30x30 program, we're a rapidly-growing startup with over 300 clients and offices in Melbourne and London. We're founded by two passionate leaders with deep experience in product, technology, and financial markets, and are a team of enthusiastic and hard-working individuals from all walks of life.
What do we do? We're solving the biggest problem facing capital markets in the 21st century: the rapidly-changing landscape of investing. Individual (aka "retail") investors are increasingly becoming the lifeblood of capital markets. But most public companies and their IR teams don't have the know-how, tools, or time to effectively engage with current and prospective retail investors. InvestorHub is an all-in-one solution that makes retail investor engagement efficient, effective, and measurable. In doing so, we're empowering companies to "own their investor relationships".
If you're wanting to join a company that merits hard work, diverse thinking, and an environment that promotes respect, accountability, and heart, then we want to hear from you!
Who we are looking for
This is not a front-of-house or creative marketing role. It's a behind-the-scenes role where the value sits in the admin: the tracker that's always current, the invitations that go out on time, the invoice that's never late, the client gift that arrives the week it should, and the supplier who always gets a reply.

Our events programme is a big part of how we reach listed companies across the ASX and UK: investor dinners, drinks and roundtables with company executives, industry conferences we sponsor and exhibit at, and ongoing sponsorship partnerships across the capital markets industry. You'll be the person who makes sure that programme actually runs, along with the client gifting that keeps signed clients close and the product update emails that keep our customers across what we've shipped.
We believe that organised, proactive individuals with a focus on personal growth can outperform years of experience. This role is high-trust and low-supervision, so you'll be someone who chases loose ends without being asked. You'll ideally bring experience in administration, coordination, events or marketing operations, hands-on experience with an email platform (HubSpot ideally), exceptional attention to detail, and confident written communication with suppliers and partners. You use AI in your day-to-day work and are happy to help your team pick up the same habits. A capital markets or IR background is a bonus, not a requirement, but an interest will go a long way.
This is a part-time role, 20 hours per week, based in our Melbourne CBD office. The team collaborates in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, so some of your hours should overlap with those days. You'll report to the Growth Lead and work closely with our content specialist, sales and CS teams.
The Journey
Within 3 months
- Become familiar with our product offering, events programme and internal processes
- Learn about listed capital markets, our customers and how InvestorHub reaches them through events and sponsorships
- Take ownership of the administration behind our events programme: venue and supplier bookings, invitations, registrations, run sheets and documentation
- Own event and marketing spend day to day, raising and reconciling invoices, chasing approvals and keeping actuals against budget visible
Within 6 months
- Run the client gifting and retention programme end to end, from the gifting calendar and prompts to the CS team through to sourcing, ordering and delivery
- Own post-event reporting on attendance, spend and learnings so the team can see what's worth repeating
- Build and send our product update emails in HubSpot from supplied copy, including QA, segmentation, scheduling and reporting
- Build the calendars, trackers and systems that give the Growth Lead a clear view of what's happening, and that the next person could pick up and run with
Long-term
InvestorHub invests in its people. As you grow with us, you will get the opportunity to shape your own path and interests within the company.
P.S. Attention to detail is an important attribute for the successful candidate. If you're reading this, please include an answer to the following question in your cover letter: "Tell us about a system you built to keep something with a lot of moving parts on track. What stopped things falling through the cracks?"
InvestorHub is proudly an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and know we are better and stronger as a team when the team is made up of individuals with different backgrounds and experiences. If you do not meet all of the criteria for this role, we still encourage you to apply.
We recruit, employ, train, compensate and promote regardless of race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental disability, marital status, family or carer's responsibilities, pregnancy, religion, or political opinion and we aspire to always be a place that people want to come to do their best work in an inclusive, progressive and open-minded environment.
Recruiters: we respect your expertise and work, but at the moment are handling this and other roles internally and ask that you refrain from contacting us to offer your services.
We believe that diversity is critical to our success. We will not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or marital, veteran, or disability status.
- Run the administration behind our community events programme, including venue and supplier bookings, correspondence, the invitation and registration process, run sheets and documentation
- Own event and marketing spend day to day: raise and reconcile invoices, chase purchase approvals, and keep actuals against budget visible
- Administer our sponsorship work, tracking what we've committed to and what partners owe us, and keeping partner communication timely and accurate
- Run the client gifting and retention programme: own the gifting calendar, prompt the CS team on signings, milestones and renewals, then source, order, budget and track every gift through to delivery
- Build and send our product update emails in HubSpot: take supplied copy, QA links and rendering, segment the audience, schedule the send and report back on performance
- Coordinate with our content specialist so promotional and follow-up material is briefed, scheduled and delivered on time
- Maintain the calendars, trackers and reporting that give the Growth Lead a clear view of what's happening and what's outstanding
- Own post-event reporting on attendance, spend against budget and key learnings, so the team can see what's worth repeating
- Plan ahead by scoping upcoming events and sponsorship commitments before they become urgent
- Several years' experience in an administration, coordination, events or marketing operations role, ideally somewhere you owned how the work got done rather than following someone else's process
- A track record of building systems that outlast you: the tracker, checklist or calendar the next person can pick up and run with
- Exceptional organisation and attention to detail, with an understanding that accuracy matters more than speed
- Confident written communication, particularly with suppliers and external partners where you're representing InvestorHub
- Hands-on experience with an email marketing platform (HubSpot ideally), and confidence building, QA-ing and sending a campaign from copy someone else has written
- Familiarity with standard office and project tracking tools such as Google Workspace, Notion or similar
- You use AI in your day-to-day work and are happy to help your team pick up the same habits
- Comfort working autonomously across part-time hours and managing your own workload without being chased
- A capital markets or IR background is a bonus, not a requirement, but an interest in our market and customers will go a long way
At InvestorHub, we empower our team to identify and solve problems as they see them by working in tight, often cross-functional teams to deliver amazing user outcomes.
