Marketing Account Executive

Job Title: Account Executive
Company: More Than Cars

We’re a human-first, niche agency who gets to work with amazing clients across the US.

We’re entrepreneurial by nature, we thoughtfully integrate AI, and we still bang a gong when we land a new client.

Now we need the right person to join our Account Exec team. Someone who can onboard new clients, nurture relationships, and make sure what we promised is what gets delivered (and then some).

If you love bringing order to chaos, thrive on keeping clients happy, and can balance human connection with strong systems, we want you on our team.

Who We Are
More Than Cars is a creative agency and new media company reshaping the perception of the retail automotive industry. “Love People More Than You Love Cars” is our mantra. Our clients span dealers, tech companies, OEMs, and financial services.

The Account Executive role is where our vision meets execution. You’ll make sure the transition from “signed” to “successful” is smooth, strategic, and scalable.

The Gig Is:

Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring clarity, momentum, and great communication from kickoff to wrap‑up.

Manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations across internal teams while keeping projects running smoothly and strategically aligned.

Lead client meetings, weekly reviews, and status updates with a focus on proactive planning and thoughtful relationship management.

Collaborate with Digital Strategy to concept, launch, and optimize multichannel campaigns across paid social, search, display, and traditional media.

Monitor campaign performance, interpret data, and translate insights into clear recommendations for clients and internal teams.

Develop account plans, contribute to strategic thinking, and help identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Maintain strong relationships across client organizations and ensure both sides have what they need to execute at a high level.

Support agency excellence by improving documentation, processes, and best practices.

Handle occasional fast‑moving pivots or fire drills without losing composure or clarity.

Not a sales position.

You Are:

A confident relationship‑builder who communicates clearly, listens well, and earns trust quickly.

Organized, detail‑driven, and strong at managing multiple projects, conversations, and deadlines at once.

Comfortable working cross‑functionally with strategy, creative, production, and leadership teams.

Experienced in digital marketing or advertising, with 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in a marketing, media, or agency environment.

Familiar with major digital platforms like Meta, Google Search/Display, YouTube, LinkedIn, and the tools that support them.

Data‑minded — able to interpret metrics, analyze performance, and turn insights into actionable next steps.

Skilled at presenting information, whether in meetings, reports, or client-facing conversations.

Proactive and self‑directed. You don’t wait for direction — you anticipate needs and get ahead of the work.

Curious about digital trends and committed to staying sharp in a fast‑moving industry.

Someone who values great client experience but isn’t afraid to push back thoughtfully when needed.

Salary:
$65,000–$75,000 depending on experience

Sweet Benefits:

• Employer-contributed health, dental, and vision insurance

• Life Insurance

• 401(k) with employer match

• Unlimited paid time off
