We Are

We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You have spent years learning that the best sales conversations do not start with product features, they start with understanding what keeps a VP of Manufacturing up at night. You know how to walk into a fab, ask the right questions, and leave with a clear picture of where yield bottlenecks are hiding or where their roadmap is about to hit a wall. You think in business outcomes, not just license deals.

Building relationships is not a tactic for you, it is how you work. You are comfortable sitting across from a CTO one day and a process engineer the next, adjusting your language without losing the thread of the value you are bringing. You do not wait for perfect alignment to move an opportunity forward. You pull together the right internal resources, translate customer pain into a solution narrative, and drive the deal to close.

At Synopsys, you will sell solutions that matter to companies building the semiconductors that power everything. The customers are real, the problems are hard, and the deals you close will have impact beyond the quota you hit.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and execute account growth strategies for semiconductor manufacturing customers across your Taiwan territory, targeting revenue expansion and new logo acquisition
• Develop executive relationships with C-level leaders, VPs of Manufacturing, and technical decision makers to understand their business challenges, technology roadmaps, and manufacturing pain points
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity qualification through solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and close
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts and greenfield prospects, mapping customer needs to Synopsys manufacturing solutions
• Collaborate with Application Engineering, Product Management, and Business Unit teams to design and deliver customer solutions that solve real manufacturing challenges
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and opportunity management discipline using CRM tools, ensuring visibility into deal health and quarterly commit
• Deliver business value presentations and ROI analysis to customer stakeholders that clearly connect Synopsys solutions to measurable manufacturing outcomes

The Impact You Will Have

• Drive revenue growth in one of the most critical segments of the semiconductor ecosystem, directly supporting customers who manufacture the chips that power global technology
• Expand Synopsys footprint in strategic manufacturing accounts, creating long-term partnerships that go beyond transactional sales
• Help semiconductor manufacturers solve yield, efficiency, and time-to-market challenges that affect their bottom line and competitive position
• Shape how customers adopt and deploy Synopsys solutions, influencing their manufacturing strategies and technology decisions
• Build a healthy, sustainable pipeline that contributes to predictable revenue growth for the Taiwan manufacturing business
• Serve as the voice of the customer internally, feeding market insights back to Product Management and Engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities
• Establish Synopsys as a trusted advisor in the manufacturing space, not just a vendor

What You'll Need

• At least 8-10+ years of enterprise sales experience with a track record of identifying, developing, and closing complex opportunities while consistently exceeding sales targets
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision makers at multiple levels, from technical engineers to C-suite executives
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer business challenges and translate them into compelling value propositions
• Experience managing complex sales cycles in enterprise software, technology, or semiconductor-related industries
• BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent technical degree preferred
• Fluency in Mandarin and English required for customer engagement and internal collaboration
• Knowledge of EDA, semiconductor manufacturing processes, or semiconductor equipment is a strong plus

Who You Are

• You can walk into a customer meeting with incomplete information, ask the right discovery questions, and leave with a clear understanding of what matters and what does not
• You know how to navigate a complex buying process with multiple stakeholders, building consensus without losing momentum or control of the deal
• You are disciplined about pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy because you understand that surprises hurt the team, not just the quarter
• You can explain a technical solution to a business executive in two sentences and then dive deep with an engineer in the next conversation without missing a beat
• You push back internally when a proposed solution does not actually solve the customer problem, even if it is easier to just move forward
• You treat your customers like long-term partners, not transactions, because you know that the best deals come from trust built over time
