We’re one of the world’s oldest start-ups — and we’re just getting started.
At Husqvarna Group, innovation is in our DNA. With over 330 years of heritage and a passion for pioneering technology, we design and deliver world class products and solutions for forest, park, garden and construction care. From robotic lawn mowers to cutting-edge chainsaws and sustainable battery systems, we’re shaping the future — and we want you to be part of it.

Are you an engineer at the beginning of your career who wants to develop within modern manufacturing? This is an opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues, work closely with advanced production technology, and gradually take on greater responsibility in a highly automated factory environment. Together with the team, you will help improve and optimize manufacturing processes within our Chain & Bar factories, ensuring we stay at the forefront of technology. In this role you will report to Sebastian Sihvo, Group Manager.

About the role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in a modern, highly automated factory environment with advanced and custom-built machinery. You will contribute to continuous improvements and technical development to optimize production performance in areas such as availability, cost, ergonomics, volume, and quality.

You will gradually take ownership of manufacturing processes, with support from experienced colleagues in the team ensuring that equipment and methods are efficient, reliable, and technically up to date. You will participate in, and as your experience grows also lead, improvement initiatives and investment projects together with experienced colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders.

A key part of the role is to maintain a holistic view of the production flow, understanding how technical changes impact both upstream and downstream processes. You will work hands-on and close to production, collaborating daily with operators, production managers, maintenance, and external suppliers as well as follow up on relevant KPIs.

About you:

You are an engineer at the beginning of your career who is curious about manufacturing, technology, and continuous improvement. You enjoy learning how production processes and equipment work and want to develop your ability to solve technical problems close to operations.

You do not need to know everything from the start. What matters most is that you are eager to learn, comfortable asking questions, and motivated to contribute with new ideas. You enjoy collaborating with others and are willing to combine practical work in production with analysis and structured improvement activities. In a dynamic production environment, you embrace change and know how to prioritize effectively when conditions shift. You build strong relationships across functions and contribute to a collaborative, engaged team where knowledge sharing and support are key to success.

As you grow into the role, you will have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of processes and improvement initiatives, supported by experienced colleagues across engineering, production, and maintenance.

Your skills and background:

• Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical Engineering or similar)
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or a similar role where you have developed a strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Experience working in a high-paced production environment with daily priorities, continuous improvement and process optimization
• Ability to work cross-functionally with different stakeholders
• Basic understanding of financial aspects such as cost follow-up and investment justification
• Experience in automated manufacturing environments is highly valued
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
