Responsibilities include creating quotes, processes, and procedures for high-quality in-house manufacturing. Understanding of CNC programming and/or industrial robot programming is a plus. This hands-on role bridges engineering and manufacturing, driving innovative solutions and smooth operations.

The duties shall include but not be limited to the following:

1. Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and other departments to establish quotes, reduce product costs, and resolve production challenges.
2. Design and optimize mechanical and manufacturing systems, including equipment, tooling, and fixtures, using CAD software (e.g., Creo, Inventor, SolidWorks).
3. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with GD&T and quality standards.
4. Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including creating routings, determining setup and run standards, and programming CNC equipment using CAM software (e.g., ESPRIT, Mastercam).
5. Program and support robotic systems for production tasks, such as material handling, assembly, and welding.
6. Specify tooling, cutting tools, work holding, and machining parameters to ensure efficient production.
7. Research and apply advanced manufacturing techniques, including additive manufacturing and automation, to improve processes and reduce waste.
8. Train and guide technicians, assist shop floor personnel, and troubleshoot production-related issues.
9. Evaluate and test products, systems, and processes, preparing reports and documenting trends to support continuous improvement.
