Role Summary
- Manual Tester is responsible for executing manual test cases for embedded medical device software.
- The role is execution-focused and works onsite with the customer under guidance of senior test leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Review application requirements and release scope.
- Set up and validate Windows-based test environments using Customer instructions.
- Execute manual functional and regression test cases provided by the Customer team.
- Identify, log, track, retest, and support closure of defects.
- Coordinate with Customer teams throughout test cycles.
- Provide daily test execution and defect status reports.
- Support release readiness and test closure activities.
- Follow defined test processes and quality procedures
Compliance & Documentation
- Follow medical device quality processes
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready test records
- Support reviews and audits when required
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing.
- Experience in defect tracking, retesting, and test reporting.
- Familiarity with Windows-based application testing.
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or medical device software testing.
- Exposure to software validation and regulated environments.
- Familiarity with healthcare application is an advantage.
