Review project specifications and work with multiple teams to understand nonfunctional requirements, including system architecture, design, and internal and external interfaces. Investigate and identify root causes of performance bottlenecks at the web (IIS), application (Java and .NET), database (Oracle/MongoDB), and message queue (RabbitMQ and Kafka) layers. Configure APM tools like AppDynamics for monolith ASP.NET, PCF .NET Core, and Java applications, and create alerts and set up monitoring dashboards using AppDynamics and Splunk. Assess performance requirements on a release basis to ensure no impact on user experience due to code changes or enhancements in each sprint.
