About Payoneer
Founded in 2005, Payoneer is the global financial platform that removes friction from doing business across borders, with a mission to connect the world’s underserved businesses to a rising global economy. We’re a community with over 2,500 colleagues all over the world, working to serve customers, and partners in over 190 countries and territories.
By taking the complexity out of the financial workflows–including everything from global payments and compliance to multi-currency and workforce management, to providing working capital and business intelligence–we give businesses the tools they need to work efficiently worldwide and grow with confidence.
Role Summary
We're building a high-velocity outbound engine at Payoneer. As SDR Team Leader, you'll lead a team of 8 SDRs operating in cross-functional pods with Business Development Managers (BDMs) across EMEA countries. Your mission: generate pipeline velocity, drive qualification discipline, and scale revenue-generating prospecting activities.
This is not a pipeline factory role. This is about building a commercial operation where prospecting is strategic, selective, and outcome-focused. You report to the Head of Sales EMEA.
What You'll do
- Team Leadership & Execution: Lead and develop a team of SDRs working in country-based pods (SDR + BDM pairings). Set weekly and monthly prospecting targets. Remove blockers and coach your team on messaging, positioning, and objection handling.
- Pipeline Generation & Qualification: Own target account selection and campaign planning with BDM partners. Execute multi-touch prospecting campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone) that convert to qualified meetings. Drive a qualification standard that supports BDM productivity and win rates.
- Performance & Analytics: Measure and report on SDR KPIs (activities, response rates, meeting-set rates, pipeline contribution to InYear revenue). Identify underperformers and top performers. Test, iterate, and optimize campaign plays.
- Process & Enablement: Define prospecting workflows, tools, and scripts. Work closely with Sales Leadership to refine targeting, while your team owns messaging strategy and execution. Own SDR onboarding, training, and ongoing knowledge updates. Ensure consistent use of CRM and forecasting.
Who You Are
- 5+ years in sales development (SDR, BDR, or similar outbound role)
- 2+ years managing / leading an SDR or sales team (minimum 3 direct reports)
- Proven success in EMEA markets (UK, EU, UAE, or MEA preferred)
- Experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, or payments is preferred
- Fluency in CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales engagement platforms
- High proficiency with AI-powered tools and automation, with a proven ability to leverage modern technology to improve efficiency, personalization, and overall performance
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Is obsessed with metrics. You can recite your team's activity rates, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution in your sleep.
Coaches through data, not intuition. You invest in SDR development and measure the impact.
Thinks commercially. You understand the BDM's economics and design prospecting to improve their productivity and close rates.
Runs lean and scrappy. You're not waiting for perfect tech or perfect market data. You iterate fast with what you have.
Has shipped results in emerging markets or in high-velocity growth environments.
