Are you a CPA who enjoys turning financial insights into business decisions? We're looking for an experienced finance leader to oversee expense management and financial planning for a large corporate shared services portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team, partner with senior business leaders, and drive financial performance through planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
What you'll do:
- Lead the financial management of a significant shared services expense portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and coordinate annual operating plans and budgets in partnership with business leaders.
- Deliver insightful financial reporting, including variance analysis, trends, and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Provide proactive financial guidance to leaders, helping them understand results, manage costs, and achieve financial objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and controls through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support strategic projects and business initiatives through financial analysis and decision support.
- Leverage financial systems and reporting tools to enhance business insights and drive operational efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
What you'll bring:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and accounting standards.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience partnering with senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and reporting tools.
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, Workiva, or enterprise planning and reporting applications is considered an asset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

The base salary for this position is between $86,600.00 - $144,300.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
