Luxury Experience Designer

Role Mission

As a Lux Experience Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping unforgettable travel experiences for our discerning clientele. This role requires a blend of creativity, empathy, and a deep understanding of luxury travel — combined with the organizational precision to bring every bespoke journey to life seamlessly.

You are not just booking trips. You are curating life experiences. Every client interaction is an opportunity to deepen a relationship, exceed an expectation, and create a memory that lasts a lifetime.

Key Responsibilities

• Personalized Consultations: Conduct in-depth consultations to truly understand each client's unique desires, aspirations, and travel identity. Build genuine rapport that goes beyond the transactional, establishing Luxuria Vacations as a trusted LUX Travel Partner.
• Bespoke Itinerary Design: Develop meticulously tailor-made itineraries that exceed expectations and create lasting memories. Every detail — from transfers and accommodation to curated activities and special requests — is thoughtfully crafted to reflect each client's Travel DNA.
• Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with top-tier hotels, airlines, and luxury service providers worldwide. Leverage these partnerships to secure exclusive access, preferred rates, and elevated experiences for our LUX Members.
• Seamless Booking Execution: Handle all aspects of the booking process with precision — transfers, insurance, activities, and special requests — ensuring a frictionless experience from inquiry to departure. Nothing falls through the cracks.
• Exceptional Client Service: Provide outstanding service throughout the entire travel journey, anticipating client needs before they arise. Be present, responsive, and genuinely invested in every aspect of the client experience.
• Client Retention & Referral Generation: Foster long-lasting relationships by delivering consistently exceptional, personalized experiences. Proactively encourage repeat business and referrals through meaningful follow-up and genuine connection.
• Post-Trip Engagement: Maintain momentum after every trip through thoughtful follow-up — seeking feedback, celebrating shared memories, and planting the seeds for the next adventure. The relationship doesn't end at the airport.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and cross-functional departments to ensure seamless client experiences from end to end. Share knowledge, surface insights, and contribute to a high-performance team culture.

Core Competencies

We are looking for a very specific kind of person. Beyond the credentials, these qualities define what it means to thrive as a Lux Experience Designer.

• Client Centricity

You deeply understand client needs, build strong rapport, and deliver personalized experiences that exceed expectations. Active listening, empathy, and a genuine passion for creating unique journeys are second nature to you.

• Creative Problem-Solving

You think outside the box, anticipate potential challenges, and develop innovative solutions to ensure a seamless travel experience. You adapt effortlessly to changing circumstances and evolving client requests.

• Luxury Travel Expertise

You have a strong command of luxury travel trends, destinations, and the competitive landscape — including knowledge of top-tier hotels, airlines, and premium service providers around the world.

• Organisational Excellence

You manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision, prioritise effectively, and maintain meticulous attention to detail. Deadlines don't slip and nothing goes untracked.

• Communication & Relationship Building

You communicate with warmth, clarity, and professionalism — written and verbal. You build lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors that generate loyalty and referrals.

What Success Looks Like

• Clients feel genuinely known — not just served
• Every itinerary reflects the client's individual Travel DNA, not a template
• Booking processes run smoothly with zero dropped details
• Suppliers and partners see you as a trusted, professional contact
• Clients return, and they bring others with them
• Your teammates rely on you, and you rely on them

Who This Role Is Not For

• Someone who treats travel as a transaction rather than an experience
• Someone who needs to be told what to do rather than anticipating client needs
• Someone who struggles to manage multiple moving parts with precision
• Someone who isn't genuinely passionate about luxury travel and the people who love it
