Local HC Driver

• Together we’ll come together as one team to build a high-performance culture
• Casual opportunities available, based at the Qantas Freight International Terminal
• 7-day rotational shift roster position

When international air cargo touches down in Australia, we’re there to get it the rest of the way to its destination. Our interstate trucking services cover the domestic legs of international airfreight operations, driving between all the major cities from our hubs in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Coolangatta, Perth and Adelaide.

In 2008, Qantas Freight Enterprises bought JETS Transport. Today we operate as a wholly owned but independently managed business. With unbeatable reliability, security and attention to detail, it’s no surprise we’re Australia’s road feeder of choice.

We understand our priorities and what needs to be delivered, taking the initiative to keep things moving. We bring teams and individuals together to deliver on our customers’ expectations.

Based at the Sydney Freight Terminal, your new position as a Local HC Driver will see you performing depot and yard work including loading/unloading interstate trailers, restraining freight and air-side driving. You will also be responsible for local deliveries and pick-ups around the Airport precinct.

You’ll have -

• A HC Licence (MC advantageous)
• A valid Forklift Licence
• Ability to be flexible between driving, depot and yard work
• High attention to detail and focus on safety
• Experience in aviation and/or cargo terminal environment will be desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good driving history (Essential)
