We are looking for a skilled Linux Administrator to manage, maintain, secure, and optimize Linux based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in Linux installation and configuration, security hardening, automation, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, security, and performance of Linux servers and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers and operating systems.
• Perform server provisioning, patching, upgrades, and configuration management.
• Implement Linux security hardening in accordance with security policies and industry best practices.
• Manage users, groups, permissions, sudo access, SSH, and system services.
• Monitor system health, availability, resource utilization, and performance.
• Troubleshoot Linux operating system, networking, storage, and system related issues.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using Bash, Shell scripting, Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Manage packages, repositories, system updates, dependencies, and services.
• Analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve issues.
• Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, DevOps, and Application teams to support enterprise infrastructure.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance.
• Hands on experience with Linux administration, preferably RHEL, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu, or CentOS.
• Strong understanding of Linux system architecture and administration.
• Experience with Linux security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, and NTP.
• Proficiency in Bash and Shell scripting.
• Experience with Ansible or other automation tools.
• Knowledge of Linux performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience analyzing CPU, memory, disk, I/O, and network performance.
• Good understanding of Linux file systems, storage, LVM, and permissions.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Python scripting and automation.
• Docker, Podman, and containerized environments.
• Kubernetes administration.
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or Nagios.
• Git and CI/CD environments.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Vulnerability management and security tools.
• Infrastructure as Code and configuration management practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• RHCSA, RHCE, or other relevant Linux certifications will be an advantage.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment.
• Willingness to participate in on call or after hours support when required.
