Salary: $6,500 – $9,500 per month
About the client:
Our client is a Reputed Bank.
Responsibilities:
Administer, maintain, patch, and upgrade Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
Support Linux platforms hosted on physical servers, VMware, and cloud environments.
Monitor system health, performance, and availability, and troubleshoot OS, hardware, software, networking, and storage issues.
Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes, including root cause analysis (RCA) and service restoration.
Perform security hardening, vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery activities, and operational documentation.
Collaborate effectively with infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams, and participate in on-call support as required.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in IT / Information Technology or any other field
5+ years of hands-on experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, filesystems, patching, upgrades, security, and performance tuning.
Automation and scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
Hands-on exposure to one or more monitoring or observability tools such as BMC Helix, ITSM Helix Remedy, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
Proven experience in managing production support activities, including incident resolution, change implementation, service recovery, and root cause analysis (RCA).
Exposure to high-availability and clustering technologies such as VCS, PCS, and GPFS.
