Legal Counsel Financing Lending and Securitization

You will provide legal counsel on financing, lending, securitization, and online lending platform activities. You will draft and negotiate finance documents, advise on regulatory compliance and product design, manage regulatory inquiries, support complex fintech projects, and attend relevant court and government proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on financing, lending, securitization, and online lending platform activities
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing and credit documentation
• Advise on securitization and structured finance transactions
• Advise on lending, financing, consumer protection, and data privacy regulations
• Support product, credit, and risk teams on online lending platform design
• Handle regulatory engagements, examinations, inquiries, and correspondence
• Analyze new fintech regulatory guidance and provide legal advice
• Advise on legal issues and risks affecting business strategy
• Attend case conferences and hearings with courts and government agencies
• Perform other legal matters assigned by the Chief Legal Officer

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in banking and finance, lending, consumer credit, or structured finance and securitization practice in the Philippines
• Knowledge of SEC lending and financing company and online lending platform frameworks, BSP regulations, consumer protection, and data privacy requirements
• Ability to independently draft and negotiate finance documentation
• English fluency with strong writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of payments and cryptocurrency
