Learning Developer / Instructional Designerπ Location: Perth City Centre
π 6-month inital Contract Opportunity | Potential for Ongoing Work
We are seeking a skilled professional to develop a global awareness course aligned with a Global Contractor Management Standard for a leading organisation.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality online learning solutions that support governance, compliance, and operational excellence. You'll work closely with business stakeholders to create engaging and effective learning experiences for a global audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end eLearning solutions from concept through to deployment.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and translate complex business requirements into learner-focused content.
- Create storyboards, learning materials, assessments, and interactive digital learning experiences.
- Develop courses using Articulate 360 (Storyline and/or Rise) and publish SCORM-compliant packages for LMS deployment.
- Manage review cycles, stakeholder feedback, approvals, and final course publication.
- Ensure learning content aligns with instructional design best practice, adult learning principles, and organisational standards.
- Support localisation and translation activities for global course deployment.
- Demonstrated experience in instructional design and online learning development.
- Strong expertise developing eLearning content using Articulate 360, including Storyline and/or Rise.
- Experience managing the full course development lifecycle from analysis and design through to release.
- The ability to simplify complex operational, governance, safety, or business topics into engaging learning experiences.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating reviews and approvals across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Excellent visual design, content writing, and presentation skills.
- Mining, resources, manufacturing, heavy industry, asset management, or safety environments.
- Compliance, contractor management, workforce management, procurement, or governance learning content.
- Global learning programs, localisation, and multilingual course deployment.
- Exposure to Avetta, contractor management systems, or contractor compliance processes.
