Dave vs. Goliath. We’re Dave.

Dave is a financial app on a mission to build products that level the financial playing field. It is redefining the financial landscape by leveraging technology to create an affordable, transparent, and user-centric access to liquidity for millions of Americans. As a leading innovator in the U.S. financial services sector, Dave’s digital financial platform offers products designed to meet the credit needs of those underserved by traditional financial institutions. Dave’s offerings include its flagship ExtraCash product, providing members up to $500 within minutes. The company is on track to launch several new product offerings in 2026, including a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) option.

Dave is focused on serving Americans who are financially vulnerable or living paycheck to paycheck. Dave is leading the charge in creating a new era of credit products that prioritizes speed, affordability, and accessibility, making it the go-to financial partner for those who need it most.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Lead Technical Program Manager to help bring Dave’s next generation of products from idea to market. You’ll work at the center of Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to turn emerging product concepts into clear, executable programs.

This is a role for someone who is energized by 0→1 work. Not everything will be fully defined when you start — you’ll help create the structure, uncover dependencies, and make the trade-offs that allow teams to learn quickly and build thoughtfully. You’ll connect product strategy to technical execution and help new products move from early validation through launch and scale.

What You’ll Build & Own

• Lead complex new product programs from early concept and technical discovery through development, launch, iteration, and scale.

• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to translate product strategy into executable roadmaps, sequencing work across multiple teams and technical systems.

• Create clarity around architecture, dependencies, risk, operational readiness, and critical decisions as products move through different stages of development.

• Coordinate across Engineering, Design, Data, Analytics, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to ensure launches work end to end — not just in the product experience.

• Build launch and experimentation frameworks that help teams test assumptions, learn from member behavior, and use data to inform what comes next.

• Anticipate technical and operational constraints early, helping teams balance speed to market with reliability, scalability, and long-term flexibility.

The Impact

You’ll help determine how effectively Dave turns new ideas into products members use and value. Your work will create the operating foundation that allows teams to experiment thoughtfully, launch with confidence, and scale successful products across the business.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Technical Foundation

• 8+ years of experience leading complex technical programs, including significant ownership of consumer product launches or 0→1 initiatives.

• Proven experience taking products from early definition through launch in partnership with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong technical fluency across modern software systems, including mobile applications, APIs, distributed systems, data platforms, and third-party integrations.

• Experience operating in ambiguous product environments where requirements, technical approaches, and priorities evolve as teams learn.

• Strong understanding of experimentation, analytics, launch readiness, and product development lifecycles.

• Demonstrated ability to identify dependencies and risks across multiple teams and turn complexity into clear decisions and execution plans.

• Strong written and verbal communication, particularly when translating technical or regulatory complexity for senior stakeholders.

• Track record of influencing without direct authority and building alignment across teams with different priorities.

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Bonus Points

• Fintech experience across banking, payments, credit, lending, or other consumer financial products.

• Experience launching products involving financial partners, regulated workflows, or complex operational processes.

• Familiarity with LaunchDarkly, FullStory, Looker, Snowflake, and GCP.

What Makes Someone Successful Here

You take responsibility for outcomes, not just delivery plans. You’re curious about the member problem behind the roadmap and understand how product decisions connect to adoption, economics, risk, operations, and Dave’s broader strategy. You ask thoughtful questions early, surface trade-offs clearly, and create enough structure for teams to move forward without adding unnecessary process.

You’re also a strong connector. You build trust across disciplines, bring the right people into decisions, and adjust as new data changes the direction. You care about launches that work end to end and systems that make the next launch easier than the last.

What to Expect

New product development comes with evolving assumptions and priorities. You’ll have meaningful autonomy to shape how programs come together, with decisions grounded in member insight, data, technical realities, and close partnership across Dave.

Why Join Dave

• Help shape new products that expand how Dave supports members’ financial lives.

• Work on high-visibility 0→1 initiatives with meaningful influence over both strategy and execution.

• Partner across the company to solve complex product, technical, operational, and regulatory challenges.

• Build the systems and practices that help Dave launch and scale new products more effectively.

• Join a profitable, publicly traded fintech entering its next stage of product expansion.
