Lead Software Developer – Python + React/Svelte (Bengaluru)

We are looking for a Lead Software Developer with strong hands-on experience in Python, React/Svelte, cloud-native applications, APIs, and microservices to develop scalable software solutions for engineering-focused applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Engineering/EPC domains and a strong understanding of modern software development, cloud technologies, CI/CD, and AI-enabled applications.

Key Responsibilities\:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python and React/Svelte.
• Develop REST APIs and microservices using FastAPI/Django/Flask.
• Implement efficient, maintainable, and reusable software components.
• Work with databases including PostgreSQL, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Develop engineering automation, validation, and data-processing solutions.
• Integrate applications with CAD/engineering systems and external services.
• Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure/GCP.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes/Cloud Run, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and production issues.
• Collaborate with Architects, Tech Leads, QA, DevOps, Product Owners, and Engineering SMEs.
• Contribute to AI-enabled applications using LLMs, AI APIs, prompt engineering, and automation frameworks.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum development and contribute to technical design and estimation.
  

  Engineering Domain Experience\:

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred\:

• Engineering / EPC
• CAD/BIM applications
• AutoCAD / Civil 3D
• DWG/DXF processing
• Engineering calculations and validation
• Engineering automation and quality-control tools
• Geometry/spatial data processing

Experience with AutoCAD APIs, GIS, PostGIS, GeoPandas, Shapely, or engineering software integration is a strong advantage.

Required Skills\:

• 8–10 years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on Python development.
• FastAPI / Django / Flask.
• React and/or Svelte.
• REST APIs and microservices.
• PostgreSQL / SQL / NoSQL.
• Docker and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP).
• CI/CD and Git/GitHub.
• Unit and integration testing.
• Understanding of system design, scalability, security, and performance.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
