The Role

As Lead Product Designer, you will set the design direction and quality bar across 360, Assure and Learn. You will combine design leadership with hands-on delivery, ensuring the highest-impact work receives the right attention while critical priorities continue to move.

You will lead customer research, strengthen design systems across multiple products and work closely with Product and Engineering to turn business requirements into practical, high-quality experiences. • Stay hands-on across priority research, concepts, prototypes and production design.

Workload, Backlog and Team Leadership

• Manage team capacity and hire, support and develop designers as the organisation grows.

Customer Research and Validation

• Lead customer research to validate designs, assumptions and design-system decisions.
• Use direct customer evidence to refine requirements and improve outcomes.

Cross-functional Product Delivery

• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate requirements into buildable designs.
• Balance customer value, product consistency and technical feasibility through delivery.

Design Systems and AI-enabled Practice

• Build and govern scalable design systems across multiple products.
• Define practical uses of AI across research, prototyping and production design.

Desirable

• Experience inheriting a sizeable existing design backlog.
