Arbeit Group is currently looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to join a high-impact enterprise technology team. As a hands-on technical leader with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS Cloud, and Microservices Architecture, you will work on large-scale, mission-critical applications.

Key responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot

Architect and develop scalable RESTful APIs and Microservices

Work closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions

Drive best practices in software engineering, code quality, and system design

Support cloud architecture and deployment using AWS services

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across projects

About you

12+ years of hands-on experience in Java development

Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot

6+ years of experience building and supporting REST APIs

7+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Services, including ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS

Strong experience with CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Microservices Architecture, and Enterprise Application Development

Experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Senior Developer, or Technical Lead

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Legally eligible to work in Malaysia
