🚀 Hiring: Lead Data Engineer | 7+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join our team and work on a critical data engineering project.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Advanced T-SQL development
• SQL Server DBA activities
• Query optimization, indexing & performance tuning
• Data modelling – logical, physical and dimensional modelling
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Experience with Azure Data Platform services
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT and data integration

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF and Azure services
• Develop complex and optimized T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions and database objects
• Perform SQL Server development, administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Build data integration pipelines connecting multiple source and target systems
• Work with large volumes of structured and semi-structured data
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, data quality issues and production incidents
• Apply data modelling techniques for analytical and operational requirements
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies and production deployments
• Work closely with developers, architects, QA and business stakeholders

Experience with Agile/Scrum, technical documentation, distributed teams and CI/CD/source-control tools such as Azure DevOps, Git or Bitbucket is what we look for.

• Experience working with changing source data structures
